It was dark, just after sunset
It’s the purity I’ll never forget
It wasn’t too dark, and the water was still warm
I realized you had more character then I let my thoughts form
Stars were out with the soft orange
Laughter and smiles, we never had a shortage
Coming up from a wave, washed up on the board
You couldn’t cut my joy, not even with a sword
Saw a green flash
Soaked in your words, they made a splash
As the sun fully set on the horizon
Nostalgia flies in
It was dark, just after sunset
Fearlessness I’d finally met
It wasn’t too dark, and the water was still warm
So unexpected, your humor hit me like an electric thunderstorm
Stars were out with the soft orange
Our conversation’s memories I started putting in special storage
Coming up from a wave, washed up on the board
Miles away, but connected through this invisible chord
Saw a green flash
And even when our fire turned to ash
As the sun fully set on the horizon
Your appearances in my dreams is not surprising

This speaks to me my dear Ace as my former partner and I are about to take a short vacation together in hopes of reconnecting. The most difficult part of my own awakening as been understanding that his is on its own timeliness. I have changed every single aspect of my life and expression of it where as he has now admittedly been stagnant in his. He doesn’t want to lose me so has asked for us to try again. This is how relationships shift and grow, continuing to heal individually and also as a pair. This poem gave me so much hope, I know that my soul is leading me in the direction I need to go🌠🎆💛🙏

I knew intuitively that this was an expression of your relationship 😊 I completely understand what it’s like to be cut off from your best friend, I feel my partner is mine too and we have been separated physically now for almost a year living many states apart. The ebbs and flows are how we grow and sail into deeper and more open waters 🌊 I like you with your relationship have seen many a rough sea and a rogue wave or two. We are both finding our way, I believe that Ace which is why the Universe has us experiencing synchronization and reflections. We are all in this big wide world together, teaching out a grasping the hands of one another with love in community. It’s such a gift to know this in our souls and share it with others as we do🤗 All the love shines like a beacon ushering us home💓
