What would you want if there were no material things in this world? Somebody asked me this question recently and it really got me thinking. Especially during times like these I feel this is such an important question. Something about it really struck me so I asked that question to everyone that is close to me. I got a lot of good answers but they all came back to one thing; love.
I would want real human connection. In this day and age everyone is so into their devices that to have a real and deep conversation is a luxury. And with the increasing use of facial coverings you can’t see anybody’s face or reactions limiting human connection. Could you imagine walking down the street to a store or something and there were no phones, everyone looked you in the eye, everyone said hello and smiled and even cooler someone asked you a deep question and you had a meaningful conversation with them? Personally, I’ve never seen that but I know that whatever I believe will happen. So, I imagine it, and I imagine it, because my thoughts create my reality.
One of my friends who I was talking to about this (unfortunately through text, you can’t win them all 🤪) completely agreed with me. And she pointed out something very true that people are forgetting how to talk to others. Being homeschooled my whole life, I was constantly pestered with the question, “How do you socialize?” And it is funny I’m throwing that question back at society. How do you socialize? With your face covered up, your eyes on your phone, your body at your house and your mind on your problems how do you connect? I encourage you to connect with other souls out there, whether digitally or not because I know it is hard to have face to face connection right now. At least talk to people, you never know how much you could help someone in their day. Kindness is free and will always make you feel good.
The friend who asked me this question said he would want to see the world. And my brother had the same answer. Could you imagine seeing the world without a passport, in a borderless world, without the the horridness of the airport and to experience cultures with people who are alive, vivacious and thrilled to connect with you? Again, I’ve never seen that but I too crave it. I’ve never understood why you need to a license to do anything in this world, let alone to pay to have the license. So to be able to see the world without borders would literally be a dream come true. This world has so much beauty in it that we are not aware of. For now, we can vision the beauty of the world in our heads because we are also not allowed to see beauty right now. Envision a better world, it is the least we can do to raise our vibration to ascend out of all this darkness and control.
My mom said love first thing but as she thought about it she went on to say authenticity. How awesome would that be? If you’re like me then authenticity means the world to you. Could you imagine living in a world where people knew who they were at their core, who were proud to be themselves, who fearlessly were that person every single moment of the day and who were honest to you no matter how hard the truth was to say? My mom is the most authentic person I know so I can imagine certain people like this but to imagine a whole world filled with only people like this is like speaking a different language for the first time. But I will imagine it for thoughts become reality. This world is what we create it to be, we are not only in total control of our destiny but we are in control of the Universe’s destiny for we are big pieces of it.
My dad simply said love which as I said earlier is really what we all want. We sometimes get distracted by material things but at our core we all crave love. Love connects us all and is who we are. All these answers always come back to love. Love is not a fairytale love story although it can be, love is much more deep. You could spend lifetimes trying to understand love but why try to understand it when you have an opportunity every second of every day to live it?
Another friend who I asked this question to said, “A better sense of humor.” It was a bit of a different answer from the rest but one that totally made sense to me. Especially right now, people are very stressed, up tight and in a massive state of fear. It seems as if every little thing is being taken so seriously right now and I get that some things must be taken seriously. However, a little bit of laughter and bringing levity to certain situations is definitely needed in this world. Laughing is so good for the soul and making others laugh will always bring you joy. Joy keeps us alive, not happiness for that is temporary. But joy is long lasting, it is real and it is an electric frequency that can be felt not only by you but by the Universe. Wouldn’t it be cool for a complete stranger to intend to brighten your day and to bring you joy? Could you imagine a world where we all wanted joy for one another and where we connected deep inside by the electric frequency of joy?
Think about this question today: What would you want if there were no material things in this world? Thank you to the person who asked me this, it really inspired me and got me thinking from my heart. How do you define love?
In life there are really only two things; love and fear. It is that simple. Everything that isn’t fear is love and anything that isn’t love is fear. Love to me is a feeling, a connection and a vision. Love is an action, an emotion, a relationship, a mindset and an intention. Love makes you feel complete and whole, at peace and excited for life. I spent too much time with fear in my life and I have now shifted completely and live my life fully based on love. I feel balanced, joyous, passionate about my life and happy about the people in it. Love creates the reality you want.
How would you describe soul centered living?
I think of it like this; your body is the avatar and your soul is the real you. Your soul is the truest part of your being, it taps you into your past lives, into feeling truly alive and into the deepest place of love. When you live from your soul there is no need to think anymore. You do everything based off feeling and deep knowing in your intuition and heart. You realize you are a special piece of the Universe and the Universe is you. Then everything you go through in life becomes an adventure or a practice to trust your soul enough to act only from it and not your little mind.
The voices in your head, how do you define them?
I believe there are two voices in your head, just like there are really only two things in life. The first voice, the only voice you should listen to is your higher self/the Universe/your soul/love/the real you. This voice supports you, wants the best for you, loves you and ultimately is the true you, the one who is the Universe. The second voice, the voice you should tune out is what I call your little mind. I say little because it acts like it has power but in reality it has no power, making it little. This voice is pure fear and does not have your best interest in mind. I wouldn’t say it is evil for without it you wouldn’t know what courage is, you wouldn’t grow and you wouldn’t see the power of love.
How do you tune out your little mind?
You need to differentiate your little mind vs. your real self/love. You’ve got to realize which voice is talking. Once you realize which voice you’re listening to then you can tune out that little voice for realization is the first key to anything. Then, you’ll need to constantly set an intention to act only from love and to only listen to love. You can say to yourself a lot, “I am living from love/my higher self/the Universe/whatever you want to call it.” When that little mind starts talking repeat that mantra or simply just focus on something else. Once you do this enough, it will get very quiet and won’t bother you as much. It will always be there, but you won’t even dwell on it. It will have no power over you.
How do I listen to the synchronicities?
Again, the first step is you need to realize them. They are happening all around you, you just can’t see them or you choose not to. Open your eyes fully. Once you see one you’ve got to fully grasp its message. If you’re living from your soul this will take you two seconds. Your soul knows, you’ll have this strong knowing and it will just make perfect sense. Then you’ve got to act on it, once you know the message don’t ignore it or the Universe will slap you on the head (metaphorically and for your benefit). Trust your heart and your soul not that nagging little mind and go for it. As crazy as it may seem always remember that the Universe has your best interest in mind.
How do my thoughts create my reality?
Your thoughts hold more power than you know. The Universe is always listening to you and acting upon your thoughts. The Universe doesn’t hear negatives. For example if you say, “I don’t want to lose this,” the Universe hears, “I want to lose this.” And the Universe doesn’t stop at just hearing what you say, it acts on it immediately. Everything is connected and things conspire to make a reality. The reality you live in doesn’t just happen. It is shaped by your thoughts, beliefs and visions. When you catch yourself thinking negatively or about things you don’t want, don’t freak out. Take a deep breathe and think of what you do want. Don’t pay attention to the tricks your little mind plays, pay attention to the magic the Universe presents you with.

Every choice you make, every moment you live and every breath you take you decide to live from love or fear. It is completely your choice and within your control. Every emotion is love or fear and every thought is love or fear; it may seem like there is more to it but really, it is love or fear. Especially right now, to live from love is of major importance. This world is surrounded by too much fear, darkness and division. We are not shown the countless acts of love, kindness, light and in general good things I know this world is full of.
You cannot fake love; to fake it would be to act from fear. Your heart will know if you’re genuinely acting from a place of love, kindness, compassion and light. Love always makes you feel good, always. We are loving, compassionate and strong beings. We are not what the media tells us we are or what our little mind likes to trick us with.
In the core of your being and in the goodness of you heart you know you are pure love, more powerful than you know and compassionate to yourself and to others.
AceI encourage you today (and always) to be conscious of your decision making, the way you live and the person you decide to be in every moment. Think to yourself, am I doing this out of love or fear? Am I living this moment with love or fear? Do I recognize love or fear in this situation?
That last question is super important. Especially with the media’s influence in our lives and their consistent encouragement to not form our own opinions, to live from fear and to see only one side. When you look into someone’s eyes what do you see? If you read a media headline how does it make you feel? When you’re in the middle of a tough situation what are you going to act from? You can only see in others what you have in you; this is big. We are all made of love and fear. Think from your own mind, not others and not your little mind. Make your own decisions and form your own opinions from love. And if you do see fear, don’t combat it with fear; be your loving self and act from love because that is how you vanquish fear.
Today, set your intention to be pure love, to spread love, to see love in all and if you do see fear continue to act from love and do your best to be that ray of light that vanquishes darkness completely. And once you do this today continue it for days and days to come.
To act from love is liberating, to act from fear is imprisoning.

I love to write about the soul or your higher self; it is a frequent topic in my creations. I always say your soul knows what to do and to trust it. In this article, we are taking that to the next level. Your soul has lived many, many lives; we are timeless beings. So, your soul knows many different souls and connects to all. Your soul connects to all beings. But there are a special few your soul has karmic ties to and a strong bond based off past lives.
Love intertwines, connects and brings us all together. The Universe is always taking care of you; making things happen for a reason, creating synchronicities and helping you continue to grow and glow. We are all so different and so unique but at the same time we are all made of the same stuff: the Universe, the stars, the soul and love.
I think the word soulmate means a lot more than we are told. Soulmate does not mean one person only romantically. Sure, it could be and in a lot of cases the bond is to strong that it turns into romance but that doesn’t mean all soulmates are romantic. And your soul does not connect with just one person in a whole lifetime, if we are connected to all and timeless beings, how would that work? I believe you have a few soulmates throughout each life you live. Different soulmates for different periods of time to learn different things about yourself and to help you grow.
This is where trusting the Universe is so important. The Universe will bring different people into your life for a specific reason. And your soul knows why, your soul connects. Trust your soul. There is a reason every person in your life is in your life. Stuff doesn’t just randomly happen, everything has a purpose, a reason, and sometimes just a season. Some people will stay in your life forever, some will come and go. That is ok, trust the Universe. You are the Universe.
When a new person comes into your life, don’t think from your little mind. It will tell you it’s just another relationship; it will convince you it is a small thing. It is not. Every relationship is meaningful and has power. Listen to your soul and listen to the Universe. Your soul will remember things.
Some people, when they are so in touch with themselves, can remember past lives and people from those lives. We all do remember but not as clear as others. One way to tell is this: A lot of people say they’ve felt like they’ve known someone for a very long time when maybe you’ve only known each other for a couple months in this life. That is a sign, you have a deep connection and tight bond from something bigger than a material relationship in this life.
Even in this time where a lot of connection happens digitally you will know. Words have such power and you can play with trusting your soul. You’ll know when the other person will contact you, you might know what they’re going to say, you might even have dreams about them.
I was watching someone speak the other day and he said something that stuck with me, “When will you realize it’s not a coincidence that you think of someone and they contact you seconds later?” He is so right, this is not a coincidence. We are all connected, our thoughts travel and our energy is contagious.
Let’s dig a little deeper into this. I’ve had that happen many times to me or the reverse. Many times I’ve even noticed two people will contact me at the same time. And I’ll see them in my dreams and predict certain situations that actually end up happening. I realized a long time ago this all wasn’t just a coincidence. Recently, I put all my trust in the Universe and started to become more in touch with my higher self and intuition. That’s when I really noticed all the synchronicities happening. So, I think it takes a little trust, belief and being open to it. If you don’t believe this is possible then it won’t happen to you. Whatever you believe will happen.
The saying, when you’re thinking of someone the other person must be thinking of you, is so true. We are all connected so of course thoughts travel. You’ll feel it when someone is thinking of you, your eye might even twitch. It is so cool, these are real, vivid signs of how connected we all are. You’ll feel someone’s energy so heavily, you might even hear their thoughts for a few seconds/minutes and then it will go away.
We’ve all had many relationships of many different kinds. I realize through my past experiences that most of the time those relationships I put way too much energy into, wasn’t myself and stayed in those relationships just to have a relationship. I am super close with my family and for a while they were the only people I could be myself around. Through these relationships with my family I realized what a healthy and strong relationship looks and feels like. Throughout all my changes and growth they supported and loved me even more; they weren’t in any way jealous. Through hard times they were always there to support and look out for me and not judge me. I could go on and on.
My point is this, learn from your good relationships and from your past. And don’t be in a relationship just to have a huge circle. A tight circle is awesome and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Society makes you think you need many friends and people in your life when in actuality you just need the people who care about you and let you be completely yourself. After many heartbreaks and lessons learned I am so happy with the relationships I have in my life. I am so incredibly grateful to my family for I wouldn’t be anywhere close to the person I am today without them. I am so grateful to have real relationships with people I really enjoy spending time with. One came from the craziest place, another from my youth and a few through the sport I love but one thing is the same. We all have a special connection and I am always myself and no one judges me for it.
The most important relationship of all is the relationship you have with your soul. You are never lonely for your soul/higher self is always with you. When you love yourself relationships will come. When you let go of fear relationships will come. When you know who you are and fearlessly be that person every day relationships will come. Don’t worry about it, the Universe is always taking care of you and always knows best. Everything in your life happens for a reason; every heartbreak, every relationship and every situation. Trust your soul, love your soul and live from your soul.
Every moment you live you decide, love or fear. When you love yourself that choice becomes easy for love creates all.
