In reality, perception drives all. That’s how you know that nothing is truly real, our perception is all that is real; the rest is an illusion.
But isn’t it funny how time is purely driven from perception?
There are days life seems to be so s l o w. And there are days life seems to be so fast. But maybe those days are just reflections of our mind – our thoughts run fast one day, slow another. Experience is an external projection of our inner realities, so time really isn’t dependent on what’s happening outwardly. Time is dependent on what’s churning deeply within, time is dependent on belief.
But isn’t it funny how fear is purely driven from perception?
Fear is the greatest trick we’ve ever known, it’s the greatest illusion. Something that seems so real is truly all created from within. In moments with fear, you may feel suffocated by its strong pull or lost in its dark tunnels. But the voices in our heads are ultimately just different versions of our beliefs. If we truly listen, we can truly live. Fear lets us break free and when we do break free, we can see the fear in the outside world because our perception has become fearless.
But isn’t it funny how thoughts are purely driven from perception?
We think, we talk, we listen, we create – we live. In all that we live, thoughts emerge and become alive through our inner and outer realities. Somedays, those thoughts are foggy in their messages, visions, intentions and tricks. Other days, those thoughts are clear, comforting and organized. But truly, it all depends on the way we look at it. I’m sure in all those different days, our thoughts are actually lifeless. But what’s happening extrinsically changes the way we view what’s happening intrinsically – that’s how we give our thoughts life. We know we feel most alive when we’re in that thoughtless zone, and that’s when I remember thoughts are just another form of illusion.
Isn’t it funny?
There are days I find this life and all its many mysteries, beliefs, perceptions and illusions pretty funny, today is one of those days. Be fearless and free -Ace
I could say so many things; but, I know inside, you’ve already heard them all. Instead, I deeply listen because I am you in all that I do. There are some days that you become blurry for moments; but I always see you. You allow miracles to knock on my door and when I open the door, you are there — the magical elixir of this journey.
You make me genuinely happy, you let me genuinely feel and you teach me to genuinely be the best me. I love the days when I get the tingling feeling in my bones that you are taking care of me in the most divine way. Those days, when the stars align so synchronistically, let my heart beat louder. I even love those days when the stars seem far away because I know I’m growing and evolving into a brighter constellation.
All those years I didn’t believe in you, make these days even sweeter. Through sipping this elixir, I’ve learned to love my past in all its forms and phases. I feel I can see this journey through your perspective. And my eyes, my intuition, tell me this human experience is much more grand than we are led to believe.
The Universe opens its arms to all. Only when we realize it is us who are it, can we taste this elixir.
The elixir has always been ME.
I wrote this piece some time ago, after re-reading my post A Thousand Walls. So, originally this piece, Elixir, was more about my past. But after revisiting it, it has sort of morphed into an open conversation with the Universe — me. So here’s to embracing our past, being open to all and loving ourselves through this journey we call life! Be fearless and free -Ace

Geet’s Questions
What are your opinions on my (Geet’s Society) blog? – I love your site!! I am always empowered and inspired after reading your beautiful work! I love how you take big topics and explain them in a simple and authentically YOU way. I feel very lucky to have found you and your incredible spirit!!
How would you describe yourself as? – I am a fearless and free soul, athlete, writer, dreamer and creator.
What made you realize you wanted to be a blogger? – In 2020, I had this drive to create and get my voice out there. So, I originally was sharing quotes and poems on a small platform. And then I got censored a lot, even once for an image that only said, “Love Yourself”. It was kind of crazy to me, but it all worked out. I started craving a place where I could truly be free, and this blog was born! It has blossomed into something I had never dreamed of and I am eternally grateful.
What’s your favorite sport? Why do you like it? – Tennis!! I am a competitive tennis player and have been playing for 12 years. I love the game because whenever I play, I get to experience the zone. The zone is that flow where thinking disappears, all distractions evaporate, and you lean into the adrenaline of every moment. It’s the zone where you feel most at home, most alive and most free. And I am addicted to it 😊
What song speaks to you the most? – Tough question!! Alamo – Alec Benjamin or Intuition – Maejor. Note – I love these songs, but they’re not my favorite, more so what speaks to me.
What’s the one thing that you miss when you were little? – My brother and I used to play restaurant in our play kitchen with our stuffed animals. We’d spend countless hours “cooking” and “serving” away!! It would be cool to go back to that me and experience it one more time.
What is a quality in yourself that you hate? – I don’t hate anything about myself, I love who I am and who I’m becoming. But, I am working on overthinking. It’s gotten so much better over the years, but still a nagging thing in my mind. I keep learning and I know my intuition is all I need to listen to.
How do you practice self care in your worst days? – I talk out loud to the Universe (me) and rely on my foundation that always reminds me “all is meant to be and always ok.”
What are your pet peeves? – This is weird, but the sound of metal on metal really drives me crazy.
Which one has been your most favorite post on your blog so far? – Omg, I have no idea!! I could go on and on about my favorites. If I had to choose one right now, it would be: more than a word. It was my first spoken word and I truly had to be fearless and free in releasing it. And the feedback was just beyond touching and amazing, something I never dreamed of.
What do you do in your free time, when you’re bored? – Listen to music, create, daydream, sleep or talk to a friend.

What is your favorite character in a story book? – Katniss Everdeen (The Hunger Games)
Who do you love the most? And why? – My family because they are my forever team, and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without them; I am so grateful we walk this journey together.

Memory is a funny thing to me. Some days I wonder, “What would life be like if I had no memory of anything in the past?” Other days I wonder, “What if I could remember my soul’s entire past?” And then there are the days where I have this bursting gratitude for each memory I have – it’s as if I’m watching the best movie.
If I lived life without memory and treated each moment with a fresh, blank perspective, I think life would be boundless – almost like a dream. You know when you’re in a dream and you have no idea where it’s going, but you also know, you can take it anywhere you wish? That’s what life would be like, an unknown space of reality and a label-less world ripe with excitement for every moment — it would be like I just arrived here over and over again.
If I could remember my soul’s entire past, this journey, this life, would be so much more clear. I’d have answers, I’d have eternal experiences to learn from, I’d know my soul’s mission and most of all – I’d know who I truly am and what this reality really is. I know this life is not forever and I know my journey started way beyond the day I was born here, but I still have so many questions. In a reality where I knew my soul’s entire history, I would have all those answers.
And on those days when I dwell in my memories and soak in their emotion, I know this journey is perfectly meant to be. I smile at all those experiences that shaped me into the person I am today. I laugh at all those days I took things way too seriously. On those days I lived close to fear, I can look back with love and compassion instead of regret because I am truly grateful for that version of me.
So, in conclusion, the answer is — of course, all. Each perspective on my memory has its paradoxes, and that’s the beauty of this life. There really are no answers, and if there are, those answers are just your beliefs. I believe living life with a few less labels would be peaceful and living life with the knowing in my bones of all my soul’s past would bring me a lot more clarity. And I believe that all my memories shaped me into the me I am today. So, to every version of the past I’ve met – thank you.
I’ve thought about this poem all day There’s just too much to say Won’t be perfect, but I’ll let my heart splay Hoping it’ll take away confusion’s stay I love when I can play in mystery Because clarity is history Most days I love the up and down Today, that love has yet to be found This world is a cage Perpetually lying on its stage People are being controlled Free thinking has been sold Listening to what they’re told Love, power and freedom is old Maybe I’m the weird one For stepping out of this stun The world isn’t all of it Simply just a bit I don’t live in this world, I live in mine Reality is missing my design And not quite ready to re-align When the clutter ends I’ll remember it’s meant to be Presenting themselves as friends Tests are what I choose to see I’ll miss you on this specific date We used to walk through this very gate I hear your voice As I make every choice I know you’re still watching It’s not that shocking We get to talk in my dreams Then our realities split at the seams Thank you for being on my path Today it feels so new, the aftermath I knew this wouldn’t be flawless At least I could sit in my solace Emotions are gifts Embracing my shifts
Ace
And here’s the image version 💛. This piece is a mixture of my state of mind, remembering the tests are meant to be and missing a soul who’s passed on. I hope it reminds you to be fearless and free in embracing all your shifts -Ace
You’re the waves, reality is the sand and I am the ocean in-between. You’re the ups and downs, the whitewash and the clear blue – the rises and the falls. The sand is always there, keeping everything in perspective. And I am just all that comes between the two; maybe I’m the creatures, maybe I’m the shells, maybe I’m the abyss, or maybe I’m just the air in-between every wave. But this beach is always mine. No matter what the perceived label is, I get to create every ounce of my vision.
Even though I am creating this dream of life, I am still living it just as much. So, as every wave hits me, I experience it as something new. There is that little twinge of nostalgia, but it’s nothing more than a distant familiarity. I could live each rise over and over; I could live each fall over and over. Without those “falls”, I would’ve never known how good each rise felt. I just wish I could remember that when I’m in the fall.
So, the next time the waves come crashing down, I’ll be there for my intuition. I’ll listen at its first call, and I’ll let the blurry whispers of fear float away. The next time the waves come crashing down, I’ll breathe in the opportunity. I’ll remind myself the rise is coming. The next time the waves come crashing down, I’ll say thank you. After all, freedom is in loving the fall.
So, the next time I ride the waves with ease, I’ll breathe and soak it all in. I’ll savor every moment and take my time riding. The next time I ride the waves with ease, I’ll pay attention to my emotions. I’ll watch the flow create its waves in me. The next time I ride the waves with ease, I’ll clear out everything else. I’ll forget the external clutter and the internal hustle – I’ll lean into my peace.
A little caterpillar on a big oak tree, Falling in love with the hide and see, (finding the best spot for shade, blending in with the bark, making a small mark). Turning over a new leaf Or at least trying, adding belief. Tumbling from branches, hitting the ground, Life’s great adventure lies in playing around. (No creature could have been stiller when it came to pursuing the big dreams)?
Inching to crawl, Hearing the call, (Beyond words and thoughts, it was coming) Something so deep, A cry to evolve, a deafening weep. (A dance within, change was looming in place).
With another slither, The cocoon whispered, “come hither” Everything became s l o w, Sky and sight disappeared. (All was blank, in this blanket’s show).
Hugging its skin like gentle fluff, The cocoon became soothing, Breaking the warmth, becoming rough, Cold air brushed the new body – blooming. Like a flower that came to life, Testing its wings like they were petals, The butterfly took a flight, A new world went into view, The flapping wings appeared blue, Something ineffable, only divine, As if nothing could take away its sun-kissed shine, It floated over the trees, Tasting nature’s nectar, finally free. Ready to make another leap, Fear started to weep. The adrenaline of truly being alive, Was such a magical dive. Something inside was afraid fear would arrive, But through a smile of the eyes, And a breath of love, So many more surprises Awaited these wings delicately above.
Thank you to my awesome pal, Aarushi for doing this collaboration with me!!! We had a vision for this post and it came to life so beautifully…better than I could’ve ever envisioned! Which piece is your favorite? Which image do you like best? We’d so love to hear!!
I know you’re watching me somewhere. I know you’ve already lived this timeline, this dimension and this adventure. And I know you are always guiding me. It’s in all these ‘knowings’ that I smile and sigh, because I know I am being taken care of.
When I speak to you in my head or in my dreams, it feels almost nostalgic. As if we’ve had these deep conversations before, maybe in another life or as another fragment of me. We don’t talk as much anymore because I know you truly see me. I know I don’t need words to tell you how I feel or what’s going on in my soul, because you are my soul and more.
I see you illuminating paths on my journey. I see you before you even appear. I’m starting to predict where you’re going to go, what test is coming next and what experience is around the corner. I can feel your nudges and your knocks, I can finally hear you. So, yesterday when you gave me that mini test, I wasn’t surprised. You told me in my dream that it was coming, and I smiled in the unknowns of how you’d make it happen. And even though it did happen, and it did affect me, it felt so good to sit in the comfort of knowing it was truly meant to be and only to help me. So, maybe this life is just my projection and all experiences are simply a test on my journey (the bigger test)?
You’re not just there in my tests, you’re there in my happiness. If happiness was a sun, you’d be the core and the rays, while happiness would simply be the label to define it. I saw you in my smile, and then the galaxies revealed themselves in my eyes. I saw you in my conversation with another reflection of you. You know connection has a special place in my being, connection is a deeply intertwined creation. Even though I may be connecting with a different person, I’m really just connecting with another presentation of you. So, I saw you in him and I saw you in her – I see you in all.
Labels and words get so confusing when I’m writing to you because you are beyond this society’s definition of “correct”. I know your language speaks all and knows all these emotions so deeply; I have no fear that you get my message. I fearlessly believe you in all the ways you’re aligning my escapades. Even though the unknowns still get to me and I’m still learning to let go, even though free thinking is still foreign to people and I still don’t understand it – I still trust you. Through it all, you are always me and I am always you. So, my body isn’t just skin and bones, it’s love.
