The mirror of my soul dissolves my flaws While my heart’s vibration draws Its inner handwriting breaks fear’s barricade And together we dive deep into love’s cascade
A graceful night above Our harmony raising the frequency Auras ascend, we fly like a dove On the light of constellations, soaring peacefully
Toward the bloom of time This journey is an eternal climb The roots of emotions Are the bravest oceans
A magical connection The creation of love’s reflection We are one, an immortal team Spinning through this infinite dream
Tucked under the covers of the night The warmth of our library nook hugs us tight Flipping through pages of poems until the one just right Something connects, and our voice shines the light
With peace running through the air Such love in a memory is so rare The souls of the books weep As dreams endlessly sleep
Poems so delicate and true Some memorized but forever new Phrases we’ve cradled in our hearts From youth to now, becoming a Universal vow
The twinkling constellations Formed spirals over our heads While the character within created stable foundations And the magic eternally spreads
The comfort of our parents loving eyes The purity of their souls never told any lies All could disappear, even the skies Because the love in these poetry nights soothes nostalgia’s cries
It was so fun to collaborate with my little brother on this piece! This poem is based off our family tradition when we were younger of reading poetry each night. Those poetry nights shaped me into the person and poet I am today. It feels very full circle that my brother’s first poetry experience is this, it was such a pleasure writing with him. Change flies in like a flutter of birds Suddenly I am at a loss for words Becoming in tune with my soul’s ocean Waves gift me with ever-changing emotion
Close my eyes to absorb what I feel Butterflies chime as I start to heal My mind decides on which way to go My soul quietly chants “Go with the flow”
Seeing this dream through my newer eyes The little me seeks attention, it cries Its dying embers are lies, I start to recognize So, instead I ascend, instead I rise
My heart starts to fly, I am one with the sky I feel my soul rise as I wave a goodbye The new me is born as the old is now gone Farewell to my past, it was not meant to last
Hello to my now, my Universe takes a bow Change is my friend, loving me till the end Unclasp my hands, give my new life a chance Lead with steady feet and eternally dance
I spend more time staring at a blank screen Then I ever did in a previous life scene Maybe I’m waiting for your name to pop up Or for the poem to just write itself My thoughts jump off the shelf Arrange themselves on this blank sheet Tug my rubberband cause you’re in my head Waiting for my dream and I to meet Then words and I can intertwine our thread So much in the air It’s hard to know which thought I want to make concrete Too often I jump in and care Practicing protecting my heart, regret and I don’t need to re-meet So much to write about, how will I ever get it all out I guess that’s what writing is about A beautifully weaved route Never a drought On the contrary, something I can’t live without Staring at a blank screen Is when my daydreams are seen More alive than they’ve ever been I imagine seeing your name All my words breaking the frame I imagine the screen having a vivid image of my inner flame Hearing this reality’s game When I close my eyes and see this blank screen It’s you who’s there, how keen Define “keen” how you like, it’s more than it appears to mean Ace

The past few months, I’ve read amazing books by my friends in this wonderful community! I feel so blessed to have read these masterpieces and am so excited to share my thoughts about each one!
First up, Memoirs of a Star by the wonderful Diana! This book sits on my nightstand and I frequently re-visit it! Diana is a beautiful weaver of words and this book is just so stunning! Thank you to Diana, for sharing her beautiful, bright and inspiring light through this book and all she does to make this community a better place!
Next up, is the breathtaking and epic wonder, Infinite World by the amazing Rishika. I LOVE this book so much, each poem is just beyond words magical. Rishika is such a sweet spirit I’m lucky to call a friend, and this book is a special expression of her beautiful heart! Thank you to Rishika, for sharing this masterpiece and for all she does to make this community a better place!
And last, but, certainly not least, the lovely Ashok’s spectacular book, 4 Pillars Of Abundant Life. Ashok, himself, is such a pillar of this community and this book is just a marvelous illumination of his inspiring spirit! I often use the word “blessing” in describing this book, as it is simply that! Thank you to Ashok, for this gem of a book and for all he does to make this community a better place!!
This post was such a joy to write and these books will live on in my heart, mind and soul! It’s been a fun few months of reading, I can most definitely say that! Books are treasures and there’s something special about the experience of reading; I promise that you’ll have some magical and memorable experiences journeying through these sensations! i’ve always known
Something in my heart changed The second I entered this vortex, my mind no longer deranged Light consumed my being, already inspired and refreshed I asked the Universe for three signs Instead I found twenty two That’s the magic of this energy, somewhere I always knew The distant whispers of the trees The spark in me frees The weather may be a certain degrees But the peace in me creates an inner breeze Watching my brave little dog Frolic in the water’s twinkle and chill Feeling the enchanting creek’s thrill Everything will be ok The Universe is visibly more alive In this electric soul sway It’s always in me to thrive Basking in the nature I AM love’s creator This is home Even when I’m not in this comforting dome The dreamy memories in my head will forever roam And so will the vibrations, somewhere in me I’ve always known Ace
blanket of the night
The electric blue sky Holds my whispers in the night Hears my beliefs in the light Gazing at the stars Refreshing to hear only the Universe, not even the cars Found harmony and peace In this fearless release The only movie I’ll be viewing Is the magical bubble around me While my dreams start brewing Thoughts and worries float away Love is so vibrant and real It’s all I can see and feel The buzzing of the crickets gives my senses zeal As I surrender to the blanket of the dark And the fire’s blazing mark I lean into the trees and their beloved bark Ace

I wanted to come back a newer me I think I did that, and I hear my heart agree Love is all there is, the rest can just be Still waiting for answers on a few things But the unknowns are no longer caging my wings The creator in me sings Already been tested a few times Turn it into rhymes Like a net, they landed on me for a bit I felt it, I’ll admit But I let it bounce off Listened to my gut, tapped into my spirit My destiny is always mine, already formed It’s sunlit I am the director And the projector Happiness is my navigator Love is my narrator Dreams are my illustrator Fear is never my dictator My soul is my equator There’s a balance in the air This world is a seesaw, not always fair But definitely worth our care I cherish this trail With freedom I set sail And with fearlessness I will never fail For it’s an illusion, and I’m in charge of perception’s scale Ace
I’d rather write poems I can explore my heart’s totems Add a little mystery to take away the pain It’s freeing to break fear’s chain
Another tear with connection I knew it’d come, just my mind’s projection The second it started, I knew the risk I let it sting, now I’m ejecting your disc
You’re still missing Our past in my head is hissing You’ll come back one day It’s not you or me to betray
This past week has felt like a year All these feelings beginning to sear A wild universal test A burning in my chest
I’m so ready for an escape Let me exit this reality, this landscape Sedona couldn’t have come sooner The rock, the energy, the people The stars followed by the lunar
I hope to find you there I know I’ll come back a newer version of me Healing all my scars, letting them repair This growth doesn’t scare Because I know you are me and we’re rare
It was dark, just after sunset It’s the purity I’ll never forget It wasn’t too dark, and the water was still warm I realized you had more character then I let my thoughts form Stars were out with the soft orange Laughter and smiles, we never had a shortage Coming up from a wave, washed up on the board You couldn’t cut my joy, not even with a sword Saw a green flash Soaked in your words, they made a splash As the sun fully set on the horizon Nostalgia flies in
It was dark, just after sunset Fearlessness I’d finally met It wasn’t too dark, and the water was still warm So unexpected, your humor hit me like an electric thunderstorm Stars were out with the soft orange Our conversation’s memories I started putting in special storage Coming up from a wave, washed up on the board Miles away, but connected through this invisible chord Saw a green flash And even when our fire turned to ash As the sun fully set on the horizon Your appearances in my dreams is not surprising
It was dark, just after sunset First saw you across the net It wasn’t too dark, and the water was still warm Messages turned into conversations considered a swarm Stars were out with the soft orange Courage to speak up I no longer had to forage Coming up from a wave, washed up on the board Friendship became real, not mind games scored Saw a green flash You added in, even when life hit me with a thrash As the sun fully set on the horizon One day, our connection will again be rising
I am me Authenticity is freedom’s key I am me No matter the occasion or day Because love lets my heart splay
All you need is love and acceptance So find joy in yourself Even though the world has many angels Your presence makes a difference
Wouldn’t you rather be free than caged? Don’t do it for someone else’s praise Be the energy that lets love’s magic raise And you’ll shine brighter than you can ever pray
Light illuminates all our sides This journey is up and down in all its rides With bravery I can dream And with confidence I can gleam
Just be who you are, you are enough Bind yourself with joy and trust Love others but let yourself be loved too You are your best friend through and through
