My Story Of Unanswered Questions

Unanswered questions came knocking at my door, I opened it and let them in. Then that happened again and again and again; the nagging voices got worse each time. I jumped in, I gave them space in my head, I let them soak in all my attention, I watched them appear in my dreams – I saw them in the back of my head every single day.

I let these unanswered questions search for my fear and they found it, my fear being the future. All the uncertainty and change was a golden opportunity for my unanswered questions to run wild. I could get distracted for a period of time, but when silence visited, they knew it was too peaceful in my head. My barrier was down and they swarmed my brain like an army of well-trained soldiers, each knowing every angle that they could attack.

I started bringing my awareness to all the visits from my unanswered questions, I’d watch as one thought would spark the next, each one piling on top of each other until my belief crumbled. But, when I picked another thought aligned with love, or when I let my own voice speak up, they’d all fly away. It took conscious awareness to push them away and this was something so exhausting, but, incredibly worthwhile. Like a battle in my own head, I was done surrendering, I had to stand up for myself before their strategies controlled my whole being.

After some practice of consciously fighting back with love, I realized fighting wasn’t the answer, letting go was. These unanswered questions and the fear behind them aren’t the real me, they’re just little parasites trying to take away my power. They could be evil, but why attach a label? When you put a label of fear, more fear attaches. So, instead I just asked myself a simple question, which thoughts are serving me a higher good – love or fear?

So, when the first soldier or unanswered question popped in my head, I’d notice it, but, I let it float away. All the forces of my higher self were ready and waiting, but, the battle was irrelevant. It just became about choice, and I finally chose to pick me and love above all else. These unanswered questions never stopped visiting, I just paid less and less attention. So, my reality and their reality was no longer a match. Don’t get me wrong, this wasn’t just any easy split second decision. This was a conscious effort that I made over and over again, until it became subconscious. Once I know longer thought about it and just let the love in me do the work, these unanswered questions had no power or life – after all, I am the vessel that chooses whether to give them life or not.

Letting go, has never been easy for me, but, it’s always been rewarding. After practicing letting go in a billion little battles in my head, it became one big let go – fear. My fear of the future lost its grasp on me and I let go. I realized so much is out of my control, but what I can control, is the way I handle the uncertainty. My thoughts will become reality, and that’s my place in my future. So, as the Universe (above and in me) smiled down on this lesson learned, it hugged me too.

Just as I’d let go, it showed me the answer. I internally smiled because it’s funny when we no longer worry about something, the worry gets answered.

And that’s when the Universe, me, whispered, “Simplicity is all there is. Simply let go, and I’ll take care of the rest. Enjoy the ride.”

the secret voice

Stopped and started this poem
A hundred times
Nothing felt right, not even the rhymes
Is it the perfectionist or the expressionist?

I don’t believe in right or wrong
I just sing my internal song
The tune’s a little off today
And that’s totally ok

Not exactly a twist or a turn
It’s a deep intrinsic churn
A little burn
But this is a journey for you to learn

When I face it
It floats away
And I can return to my rhythmic sway
You’re looking for something, not an escape, but, love’s landscape

The pillows of comfortable clouds
The thoughts that come in enjoyable crowds
That indescribable rush creating this harmonious sound
But yet, why are you stuck on the ground?

The foundation is sturdy and stable
Letting me feel ready and able
Even though it’s all just a label
You know in your bones, it’s time to jump off your foundation’s table

Only when I jump
Can I feel gravity’s thump
Through courage and tenacity

Remember that night?

When I tucked under the covers and sighed. You heard me and I knew you were there, so I told you – I fully trust you, forever and always. You smiled; it was a moment you always knew was coming but something still surreal.

Remember that night?

I had that dream and when I woke up nothing else could grab my attention. Feelings so real, experiences I wanted to remember forever and hints I knew were becoming knowings. And then this wave came over me and I realized more than the dream being so real, it was that you were so real. You’d heard my thoughts and transformed them into a reality that set my worries at ease – you said, “Trust me, this path is meant to be.”

Remember that night?

I stared at the ceiling in hopes to hear your voice. You didn’t come then; looking back, I know you were there. So many voices had my attention that yours became lost. When I finally silenced everything else, you whispered in my ear, “I am always here.”

Remember that night?

We held each other tight in the warm embrace of synchronicity. You stroked my aura and blew through my reality bubble, it was the first time I really saw you in the outside world. You connected the dots and through your little message I saw your laughter peek through. Laughter, because even though it was the first time for me, it was the billionth time for you.

Remember that night?

I told you, there’s no way. I told you that you were wrong. It seemed so far away and your guidance just felt more like a dream then reality. And then you quieted and ran away, but, I saw you the next morning. You presented yourself in the form of a sign and I laughed because, of course, you’re always right; that is, if right or wrong exists. Instead of whispering, you screamed in my head, “Dreams and reality are the same thing.”

Remember that night?

You were talking to me, I was talking to you. And when I confused the voices you came through; it all became blurry. This time, my heartbeat became louder and its rhythm confirmed my instinct, “Yes, you are both one. You are the Universe, the Universe is you.”

And that night, my whole reality changed – and power had a new meaning

Inspired by lyrics in a song and personal memories, this is seriously one of my favorite pieces. These are all real life experiences I’ve been through with the Universe, so, it’s even more special. And when I say “power had a new meaning”, I mean that power became about me realizing I have the strength of the whole Universe inside me forever, always and through every lifetime. And so do you!! The Shore Series

On my recent stroll on the beach, I captured some awe-inspiring photos and the thought dawned on me to pair some of the pictures with micro-poetry. I knew this would be a challenge for me since condensing my words is not always the easiest 🤪, but, I really love the way these all turned out! Each picture I’ve taken, has its own dance, its own vibration and I like how the words match each vibration. It’s a slightly different post than my usual, but, it still has my same flare! Thank You For 200!!!

I’ve hit 200 followers!!!! I can’t believe I’m writing this post already! My goal was to hit 200 followers before my blog-anniversary in August, but, here we are!!! I am so grateful to each and every one of you, truly! Your loyal support, your touching words and comments, your connection and your love from a distance means more to me than words can ever say! You all mean so much to me and this WP journey is one I’ll forever be grateful for! I am so touched the Universe brought us all together and I can’t wait to see what’s in our future!!

I figured we could do something fun and different today to celebrate! I know getting to know the blogger is always a fun dive and I love doing Q&A’s, so, welcome to this get to know me Q&A!!!

Why did you start blogging?

In March of 2020, when the world started to collapse, I wrote a poem very randomly. We always did family poetry night when I was younger, so, maybe that played a part in me wanting to write a poem, but, I really have no idea! 😂 Anyways, that one poem spiraled into so much more. I started sharing things publicly on an app, but, through some censorship battles, I realized I wanted a place to be freely me. I’d dreamed of having a blog for many years, but, the timing was never right until August 23rd, 2020. 😊

Why fearlessfreesoul.com?

You’d need my life biography for the full story! 😂 But, in short, I am a competitive tennis player. And fear was a constant companion in my youth. I went through a lot in the sport, but, tennis (and my mom 😊) taught me so much about mental toughness and emotional strength. All these lessons started to sink in a few years ago after splitting with a coach, I don’t know, something in me just broke free…like a weight off my shoulders. I started getting these really powerful and very real dreams at night; like, 10 per night. Those dreams were showing me how the Universe in me connects to all and that synchronicities, signs, and the Universe, in general, is very much a true thing. So, these dreams opened my mind to the Universe. I started speaking with the Universe and experimenting with it…and then I fully put my trust in the Universe about a year or so ago. That’s when the fearlessness came. And with that, and many more ups and downs in my journey, Fearless Free Soul was born!

What are 5 things your followers don’t know about you?

My favorite color is blue, I am a morning person, I type most of my writing rather than handwrite, I love music and I’m very much a Taurus.

What are 3 words you’d use to describe yourself?

Thoughtful, hardworking and passionate.

What are 3 words you’d use to describe your WP experience so far?

Magical, surreal and ever-changing.

Where are your favorite places?

The gym, the tennis court, the beach, Sedona AZ and my orbit chair (I do all my creating there 😁).

When you’re not writing, what are you doing?

Training on court, working out, spending time with my family, connecting with friends, making a video, cooking, listening to music, daydreaming, thinking of what to write 😂, scrolling through my reader and reading all your wonderful work, collecting shells on the beach, watching a TV show or doing whatever the Universe brings my way.

So, music…what’s your top 5 favorite songs of all time and top 3 favorite artists?

Oh god 😂😂. Ok, top 5 songs – Breathe by Lauv, Remember That Night? by Sara Kays, One Piece by Gunnar Gehl, Hard To Say Goodbye by Ekali & Illenium (feat. Chloe Angelides), Sweet but Psycho by Ava Max. Top 3 artists – Lauv, Mokita, FLETCHER. There’s many more 🤪.

Are you more of an extrovert or an introvert?

Depends on the day, really 😂. But seriously, when I was younger I was definitely an introvert. I learned the hard way many many MANY times that not speaking up and being shy is a very imprisoning way of living life. Only a few years ago did I start breaking out of my shell and becoming free. So, I’d say I’m an extrovert with a few touches of introverted-ness!

When something is bothering you, what do you do?

Put on my headphones and listen to a song that sort of relates to the situation, let my thoughts wander and then usually, something comes through in the form of a poem. I have a nasty habit of pushing it all down and then it all explodes at some point, but, I’m working on it. 🤪 As of late, I have some opportunities to practice that. 😂😂

What do you love most about writing?

Oh man, that’s a tough question. The adrenaline from the creativity rush is unlike anything else, it’s just quite magical…beyond words really. I love the paradox of there’s a word for every emotion, but, also, there isn’t. So, I love that challenge of trying to write something that captures my idea/feeling/emotion/thoughts perfectly. Speaking of perfect, I’m kind of a perfectionist and writing definitely lets me fuel that part of me. I think I love writing because it’s expression, it’s a release and it is freeing. Something comes through me when I’m writing; when my fingers are on the keys or when my pen hits the paper, I feel closest to my soul, closest to the Universe.

What’s your mission with your blog?

My mission is to create a place to give you a break from reality and to raise your frequency. My soul’s mission is to raise the frequency of this planet and the souls in it through love, truth, expression and inspiration. So, that’s what I vow to always do with my blog – fulfill my soul’s mission. No matter the numbers or reactions, I will always be me, doing my personal best to fulfill my soul’s mission and bring you comfort, love and high vibrations!

Universe Hug #3

Galaxy, Quest, Dream, Vision – 1:51

This video is from my first video album, IMAGINE + REALITY. That album is about imagining your reality, so, this video is kind of my way of doing that – calling some things into existence 😊. You’ll notice there is a pattern to the topics of each slide in this video – it goes: vision, dream, quest and galaxy and then the last slide combines them all. I love these four topics; the inspiration is just endless. I also really love the music to this video, the song is called Grow and fits perfectly. I don’t know why this video felt right for this week’s flashback, but, it is one my favorite videos of mine for a few reasons! I hope this helps you on your journey and you receive many Universe hugs through it!!! And PS – next week’s Universe Hug is a brand new single video! Can’t wait to share with you guys!!

My Intuition’s Reminder

We are all elastic; reaching out and pulling back, being open and closed or guarding our hearts and then letting it bleed onto the pages of our unwritten books. We’ve been stretched by life and its rollercoasters but, shaped back into our strong form through the will of our souls, the love of the Universe and the determination of our inner flame.

We bend and break, we love and trust, we snap and shake, we tighten and strengthen; we live and learn. This life is not for staying stagnant, this life is for making mistakes, rising up, trying new things, diving into portals, realizing potential and achieving dreams. Perfection is the little mind’s illusion, overthinking is a trap, anxiety is the wizard’s evil trick and fear is the hurdle we jump to transform.

To every soul out there: This life is your soul’s mission! You chose to be here right now and you are exactly where you need to be on your path! This journey may be long some days and short on others, but, no matter what, the Universe is always here supporting you, loving you and nudging you along. Trust your gut, stay true to your heart, follow the signs, align with the frequency of love and be the fearless and free soul you truly are!
