Life is short, you’re probably right

Life is more than this lifetime, you’re probably right

Your destiny is in your hands, you’re probably right

Your dreams only remain dreams, you’re probably right

You are a fragment, you’re probably right

You are the infinite Universe, you’re probably right

Love is all there is, you’re probably right

This reality is just an illusion, you’re probably right

I am your mind’s eye, you’re probably right

I am who I choose to be, you’re probably right

Because whatever you believe, you’re probably right

This piece is a little different from my usual poetry. With a similar style to, flavor, these two pieces are both inspired by the same song. It’s funny how different words resonate at different times when you need to hear them. I hope this helps you on your journey and I’d so love to hear your thoughts on this lyric style of poetry! My Higher Self’s Reminder

Somedays, all we have left is to trust. Life throws plenty of curveballs, our soul goes through many phases and this reality is ever-changing for it’s just our mind’s eye. But, the one constant is the Universe.

Everything in this life or in any life, happens for a reason, I promise. If you look back on your life, you can see the chain reaction of events lining up for a reason to help you grow into the person you are today. So, whatever you’re going through now, whatever gift life is presenting you; can you see the message?

And on those tough days, sometimes the answer seems unknown. On those days, we need not look for the answer, but dive into the infinite love and trust we have for the Universe. My journey has had its ups and downs, but the day I decided to put my ever-lasting and immortal trust in the Universe was the day I became truly free. Sure, there are moments when I get lost in tunnels of overthinking, but, with my trust I can always come back to the space in my soul that knows – everything will be well.

After all, I AM the Universe and the Universe is me.

I wrote this almost as a little reminder to myself, it came through as an authoritative voice; I think it’s my higher self reminding me of the truth I know deep within. Writing this was definitely more like a channeling; my fingers were just pressing the keys, my eyes leaned back and my heart/soul leaned forward. I’m sharing this piece because I think we all need this little reminder for one reason or another. I know life can seem unfair and hard, but, this journey is yours to ace!!! You are here for a reason, so, keep that trust you have for the Universe deep within and use it as your guide to access higher levels of your purpose! Be fearless and free -Ace

Infinite Choice

Infinite Choice is a video from my debut album, IMAGINE + REALITY. Each week, I plan on posting an old video of mine as a little change up of posts, a charge of energy/motivation and a flash to the past – I’m calling it The Universe Hug Series! My mom always taught me that the little signs/synchronicities the Universe gives are like little hugs, thank you Mom!! So, my hope with this series is to give you many Universe Hugs! Dream

Projecting my life force into the ground below me and the sky above, this life is what I dream it to be. My stomach starts to turn, I close my eyes and peace comes back. When I open them again, that feeling in my stomach returns. Then it hits me – what if this life is my dream?

Reality is just a projection of my mind. I can change it, I can bend it and I can certainly wake up in a new one whenever I choose. Why do I feel more at home with my eyes closed? Is it because the labels and the surroundings are just turning my dream into a nightmare?

My perception is ever changing, but, my purpose stays the same – freedom. The vibrations around me close in and when I choose to awaken, they go away. Each day is a fresh dream, and each night is a new escape.

I find peace in the serenity of this moment. My eyes are just starting to fade and the dreamer in my mind is starting to come back to life. Sleep greets me and imagination pours over my being. My soul detaches from my body and projects a movie, the most important movie – the movie of my infinite, timeless and eternal journey.

When I awake and come back to this living dream, I sometimes wish I could’ve stayed. But, the drive of my mission revs up my soul and reminds me that I am meant to be here now.

Although, I know deep inside – this life is the dream I project at night.

Ace
We Live

We are all infinite shards of glass reflecting each other and when these shards come together, they create the mirror we call life.

We are all broken branches and fallen leaves, rooted to each other and when put together, they create the tree we call life.

We are all strokes of an eternal paintbrush in many different colors and when brought together, they create the painting we call life.

We are all torn petals and seeds growing in each other and when planted together, they create the flower we call life.

We are all different foods with our own unique flavor and when mixed together, they create the umami dish we call life.

We are all dim lit lightbulbs searching for our sparks and when the “on” button is pressed, they create the ultimate light show we call life.

We are all caterpillars finding our colonies through each other and when brought together, they emerge out of their cocoons and create the flight we call life.

Little Things

I believe the little things in life let the stars twinkle and the sun shine brighter. The little things come hug you rise and shine, let you daydream in the afternoon and rock you to sleep – the little things make this journey a big, beautiful thing.

When I was a child, we always did poetry night in my family. Each of us would read a poem of choice from one of our many poetry books; my brother often chose Little Things by Christina Rossetti. I don’t know why this popped in my head, but at the same time, I do.

When your friend makes you laugh, or your Mom smiles with an eternal glow, or you find an old journal entry, or your Dad giggles, or your friend really sees you, or your sibling is quietly thoughtful or a comment that makes your soul feel at home – life just seems perfect.

The divine timing in the little things lets you know the Universe is here, kissing your aura and whispering in your ear. This genuine joy brushes over me because I know my past was worth it, my now is perfect and my future is starlit.

One Night

February 22nd, 2021

Ticking clocks, burning lights and the spinning fan all begin to fade. I lay awake, waiting for my eyes to drift and my mind to wander; but something holds me back. Thoughts are rumbling, the power in my vision is still so alive and the beat to my heart echoes in the room. My bed feels comforting but its gentle rock isn’t putting me to asleep, it’s giving me that moment in the movies, when the depth of this journey is all in one’s sight. She comes and he follows, he stays and she wanders; she whispers, he hollers. I hear them both, but I go blank and roll over, now isn’t the time for conversations with myself about you.

Then I realize, society’s time crutch isn’t the reality I’m “supposed” to live in. My reality is shaped by the feelings, intentions and beliefs I carry, not the numbers they construct. So, the spinning fan starts to come back and I get up to collect myself. I say hello to everyone in my head, I say goodbye to silence.

But it’s in that moment, it all fades again – because when you let go, everything becomes clear.

A Thousand Walls

February 21st, 2021

In my little bubble, I know the glass is cracking. Or maybe my stains are becoming more apparent, I’m not really looking for an answer. What I’m looking for isn’t an escape nor a shortcut, it’s a sign that all will be ok.

A thousand walls go up, my scars start to burn again. The walls protect me from fear, but they also close me into my mind. The magic of the Universe outside has disappeared, it’s all within now and I’m actually quite ok with that. The sliver of light coming in from my window does start to pour something into my heart, but, this trap of thinking I’m stuck in still has my feet buried underneath its mud.

A thousand walls close in on me and I’m grateful for the protection, but, I realize now they’re too close. I’m losing my grasp on my heart’s voice but my intuition is yelling at me, I know it’s time to listen. I lean back into the depths of the darkness my room presents, and let the little sliver of light beam into my eyes; the duality of both brings me comfort.

“All is well, the nerves and the thoughts are all in your control. Let go and trust, with growth comes growing pains. Put down your walls and plant your roots, it’s time you decide how to live your journey – in fear’s hands or in your own.”

A little flashback from my past, I intended to write this about where I’m at in my journey now, but, the past came flooding back. Fear was a close companion in my youth, and when I finally broke free, miracles flowed in my life like a dream. I would never trade my past or my thousand walls because they let me grow into the fearless and free soul I am now. Here’s to letting down walls, breaking free and emerging as the truest you!!! Your touch makes me gasp
Locked your harmony on me like a clasp
It soothes me in ways I’m just beginning to know
Your effortless glow
Captures my soul in this timeless flow
It’s funny I’m saying you, when I know it’s me
The Universe inside
Is where my love resides
And our magic collides
This world and its divides
Can take us on many rides
But nothing will separate us, we are our own guides
Because we are one
The Universe, my heart, mind, soul, and intuition spun
And turned into this someone

Glazing my aura
Providing me with this eternal plethora
Abundance shall shine

Quest

February 18th, 2021

We’re hurling through time and space even though this reality is a trap. Life has no map, we create our own. My head spins with voices, I think I finally know them all.

Contemplation has become wonder and wonder has become dreaming. Saying I have it all under control would be a lie, the truth is, I know who I am and with that love and power, I can enjoy the rollercoaster.

Rising to the top, my feelings start the ride. When I get to the top, my gut starts pinging me letting me know I’m on the right track. Then I drop, wiping away all the fear. The ride starts to rise again, all these voices coming through words in my mind, beats in my heart and butterflies in my stomach. But this time, I go upside down and hear too much; I’m overwhelmed.

Now I’m just speeding down the runway, a million miles an hour, “Trust me, this is life’s quest,” says the voice in my head. The voice, being my higher self; I can tell because the ride comes to a halt and I feel at peace.

See, without the quest, would the answer be as rewarding?
