Living for what other people think
Was something I did, and it made me shrink
The Universe and I were not in sync
I never lived for me; this life was but a blink
There was a day I started to realize
There’s a difference between caring and disguise
Character and care, are not lies
Putting on different shades and filters isn’t wise
Instead, my soul dies
I guess, I also didn’t know me through my eyes
Opinions about me and voices in my head
Shaped the me I’ve now shed
When I started to let go
And give me some attention and care
Life was no longer truth or dare
It became a journey, I was now aware
Judging myself for being the wrong kind of rare
Or basing my personality just to compare
Was more about fear and my little mind’s scare
I no longer regret it
If it wasn’t for that version of the “someone” I fit
That second wouldn’t have split
And I’d still be the fragments coming together
Just to be good enough
Now I’m soft and tough
Alive, free and aware of my magical stuff
I finally chose to be me and broke the handcuff
I became good enough

I lay in bed, nighttime has long fallen and my dreams are still waiting for me. Thoughts are swirling and life’s many questions are circling in my head. My breath grabs my awareness and everything else disappears. I start watching my body’s inhaling and exhaling as I marvel at the magic of vibration. When a thought enters my mind, my breathing becomes harder and loses its flow, so, I let my thoughts float away like traveling leaves and come back to the roots of my breath.
Life is all over the place, reality is a busy space and this journey is sometimes a chase; but, one thing is for sure – my breath will always leave a trace. The invisible words in my mind have a breath of their own, my voice has its breath, the trees have theirs, the wind flows through breath – the Universe breathes through us all. I think it’s the little things in life we sometimes forget and now more than ever, we have to remember the power of breath.
Our breath is an eternal reset. Life is up and down, our emotions sway, our heart opens and closes, our soul goes through many phases and this reality of our perception is ever-changing. But, our breath is always there comforting us along the way, connecting us to the Universe and to the miracles all around. If we all paid more attention to our breath, our words would have more power because we’d learn to use our breath wisely. There’s a flow to peace, it’s a zone we all know deep down. The key to that flow is breath because when we come back to our breath, we come back to our soul.
Breathe deeply in the knowing that you are connected to all, alive with purpose and made of the stars and the sun! Sometimes, a breath of fresh air is all you need to remember your strength, courage, light and magic!!!! I encourage you to take a few moments in your day to simply sit with breath and tap into its frequency – love. You are your breath, your breath is you!!

My mind has many paradoxes
It’s like the maze of my soul
Some days, I think I know each hole
The next day, I’m on a new stroll

Those around me

I AM the answer
As my thoughts and dreams are the dancer

Each piece has its purpose it serves
Connected to my being and its nerves
I am not what a version of me deserves
I am the me I choose to be through the power of mind
I am one of a kind

I am the Universe aligned
The stars and voices combined
My head can be blurry and odd
Unpredictable but a channel of god
Alive and abroad

Trust – 1:54
This video, Trust, is a video from my sophomore album, FREEDOM. I think trust is a tricky topic and definitely a life long lesson; I’ve gone through so many ups and downs with trust. I fully trust my soul, the Universe; and with that trust, I can appreciate all the twists and turns my journey takes for I know it’s meant to be. Sure, I have my tough days where trusting is tough (hence, why I picked this video as this week’s flashback 🤪) but, through it all, I always come back to love and remembering my vow to always trust the Universe. My voice in your head
Lying you down in this cozy bed
We will always be connected through this endless thread
It’s you through all these lifetimes I’ve led

Hugging you through any aching pain

Because I know anything mainstream is just a bunch of schemes
We’re tricked and they want us divided in a million different teams
Their frequency of fear hums this corrupt lullaby
But I don’t believe in a good or bad guy
I believe in love
And I know fear is the illusion they want me to fall in
I just smile and grin

I love this poetry series! Lullaby is a topic ripe with inspiration and can be interpreted in many different ways. In this case, the first poem is the Universe speaking to you, promising to be your forever lullaby. The second poem is about the world’s lies and the deceptive lullaby fear creates. But, each poem comes back to love because no matter what lullaby we hear, it’s our choice of how we interpret it. I hope this helps you on your journey!!! Be fearless and free -Ace

I am my forever best friend; embracing my ebbs and flows, forever loving/caring/supporting me, and always looking out for my best interest. I don’t play games with my heart; sure, sometimes my little mind’s trap has tricked me, but, I always find myself again, dust myself off and get back up stronger. No matter what, my higher self will always be there protecting me.
I see myself as many fragments. I am this body but I AM more than that; I am my heart that loves and feels, my soul that grows, my intuition that speaks loudly and my many voices in my head that are all infinite versions of me from many different timelines, perspectives and lives.
AceI am a galaxy taking its form as a human. I am the Universe, and the Universe is me. But, that doesn’t mean there aren’t days when I feel very human. This life is up and down, it’s a never-ending rollercoaster. Some days, someone will make you smile, other days they’ll make you nauseous and some days a memory will burn while other days it’ll illuminate. This life of being human comes with emotion. I can honestly say that I am so grateful for that gift; emotion and feelings have become some of my favorite adventures. I think the many labels feelings and emotions come with makes everything a little blurry. Instead, I soak them in and let them breathe, speak and become fully alive. Only when you face your emotion, can the waves settle and the sun shine a little brighter.
This venture on my path is exquisitely meant to be

Through all the storms, I am divinely freeDo I have all the answers? No – I’m human and soul. This lesson is about learning to rise no matter the pain or hurt; it’s learning to love myself more and to be grateful for the new layers of growth.
I know this feeling, I know this experience; I’ve done it many times and I can certainly do it again. I’m way past being broken, but, that doesn’t mean I don’t feel and I’m not human. Through all that I’ve been through, I can say with complete honesty how grateful I am for me! I AM the soul I dreamed to be years ago, I AM strong, I AM proud of me, I SEE me, I TRUST me, I BELIEVE in me and I AM fearless and free. This journey is mine to soar; nothing and no one can change that – every hurdle, every obstacle is a twist and turn that the Universe in me knows is meant to be.
I sat down to write because, boy did I need to today. This piece is one of my most honest, vulnerable and raw. It’s more of a journal entry and expression to help me move through some tough things. I absolutely love the ending, and I feel I’ll be back reading it many times. I know everyone is going through something and some type of growing pain, but, I encourage you to express and to be vulnerable! Trust me, you’ll feel so much better and free. I hope this helps you on your journey and reminds you – emotion is a beautiful thing, dive into your feelings, YOU are perfectly you, Love is always the answer, pain hurts but it goes away when we face it and that self love is one of the most amazing things in this Universe. This has to be a test
They’ve both disappeared
And I’m left with this strange feeling in my chest
Maybe it’s pain or a sliver of heartbreak
The ground beneath me wants to shake
But I stay strong amidst this quake
I hear your voice telling me it’ll all be well
I’m letting this weird emotion dwell
Hoping an answer can come and yell
Or just waiting for my phone’s bell
I’ve let go, I’ve given space,
I’ve jumped in, I’ve done this chase
You’ve made me laugh and gleam
Now we’ve drifted into a different stream
I saw you in a dream

But then you showed up and made things blurry

I sit down and open my drafts. I let the page stay blank as I look around for something to spark a wave of emotion or inspiration. My shell collection speaks to me first, then my inspiration board loses me in another daydream. Filled with meaningful words people have said to me and poems of my soul’s, I travel to far away timelines and thought cycles. Some words sting and some bring a smile, I guess I’ve found my writing topic.
A friend who’s exited my reality, a coach who’s forever gone but still in my heart, a friend who fades and glimmers, my parents who are my home, my sibling who’s an eternal friend and a friend who’s here but not – A me who is always grateful. No matter what memories come to mind or emotions come to the surface, my heart still bursts with overwhelming gratitude. Yes, I’ve been hurt a lot and challenged in many relationships; but, after many lessons, I’ve learned that gratitude, acceptance and forgiveness is always the answer. Connection means the most to me in this entire world and relationships have taught me oh so much; I feel as though connection is always such a synchronicity. The Universe brings people into your life for a time, a season or a forever and those people are stepping stones in your journey – always.
My eyes drift to some of my poems – oh I know it’s my writing, but is it really? When I write, I express and when I express something comes out of me. That something, I think, is the purest me and the purest form of the Universe – my soul. This channeling is a different type of connection, it’s the connection to all the fragments of me in every dimension, reality, life and galaxy – it’s where I feel at home. I can get this connection on the tennis court, my second home, through the vibration of the adrenaline. But, when I’m writing it’s much more powerful – the two homes balance each other out. Both are expressive and have their own unique flow and without tennis, I wouldn’t be writing and without writing, I wouldn’t enjoy tennis as much.
I think the reason my inspiration board is inspiring to me, is that it always lets me reflect in a million different daydreams. I can look back on those vivid experiences of emotions when someone said that, or when I channeled a certain piece or the many different journeys I’ve been on in my infinite journey. It’s always important to have some quiet time and sit with yourself. In these conversations I have with myself, sometimes the most random things pop up, but, all these conversations have one thing in common – I always come to this place of peace of how much I’ve grown. I’m sure there will be a day I read this in the future and have that same experience. Self love lets your soul blossom and your heart smile, so, give yourself a little twinkle each day and illuminate your being!
Because you can reflect and reflect, those memories aren’t always perfect, but, YOU are always worth the time to connect.
