I can explore my heart’s totems
Add a little mystery to take away the pain
It’s freeing to break fear’s chain

Another tear with connection
I knew it’d come, just my mind’s projection
The second it started, I knew the risk

Our past in my head is hissing

It’s not you or me to betray

This past week has felt like a year
All these feelings beginning to sear
A wild universal test
A burning in my chest

I’m so ready for an escape
Let me exit this reality, this landscape
Sedona couldn’t have come sooner
The rock, the energy, the people
The stars followed by the lunar

I hope to find you there
I know I’ll come back a newer version of me
Healing all my scars, letting them repair

Feelings – 1:15

This past week has been weird, specifically these last few days. I have much gratitude for it; it’s been a good vibrational detox and an opportunity to grow mentally. I will always trust the Universe wholeheartedly. When I was deciding whether to post today or not, I remembered this series and I figured I could use a Universe Hug 🤪. This video, Feelings, was made before any of my albums. It’s really short and not the best video quality as I was still new to the program, but, the message is so powerful. And it’s one of my favorite songs I’ve used for any of my videos. I knew this was the video for this week’s Universe Hug. Even though I know in my soul that feelings are such a gift and sign of strength, my little mind still tries to play little games with me about it. So, I hope this video reminds you that vulnerability is strength, feelings are beautiful and YOU are at the perfect place in your journey. Be fearless and free – Ace

We Are Love

We are all stars, living in a world of the night sky. We help each other shine brighter, we shoot across the sky and through our challenges we soar. Maybe the sky we see at night, is only a reflection of the world we live in.

This world is a big, strong and sturdy tree. We are the leaves and branches which make the tree beautiful. The wind and rain let us shake and become stronger, the sun lets us grow and reconnect with our roots and the energy of spring lets us blossom. We are the roots of nature and the blooming of love.

We are the shells of this mighty ocean of a world. Each one of us is unique in our passions, truths and journeys. Paradoxically, we are united, we are one. The ocean crashes hard on the shore, it’s sometimes rocky and it’s always unpredictable. But, us shells stay strong, face our cracks, enjoy the ebbs and flows of the ocean’s ups and downs and most of all, we rise with the tide.

This world is an infinite library and we are the books that give it life. Our stories our riveting, full of wonder, untold and unfinished, powerful and perfectly us. Some of us have filled chapters, others are just at the beginning. Through every waking moment in our lives, we are writing our story. The ups and downs, the twists and turns, the mistakes and the lessons – those are what bind our books together; those moments become our backbone.

The world is our collective pillow; we are the dreams. The pillow can be a comfort or a daunting beginning to a sleepless night. But we are the dreams that make the pillow real – we are the visions, the perception. We, the dreams, are rich in depth, strong in reality and alive in memories. The pillow is powerless without us, because we illuminate life as life challenges and surprises us.

Life is the ultimate picture frame, and we are the picture. The picture is never complete, it’s always changing, evolving and transforming. And that imperfection is what makes the picture so beautiful. Our frame can be sturdy, magical in its design and memorable in its structure; or, it can be flimsy, boring or cluttered in its design or even memorable in its dislike– the choice is always ours.

We are the Universe, reflecting itself onto others in this world of the Creator’s creation.

It was dark, just after sunset
It’s the purity I’ll never forget
It wasn’t too dark, and the water was still warm
I realized you had more character then I let my thoughts form
Stars were out with the soft orange
Laughter and smiles, we never had a shortage
Coming up from a wave, washed up on the board
You couldn’t cut my joy, not even with a sword
Saw a green flash
Soaked in your words, they made a splash
As the sun fully set on the horizon
Nostalgia flies in

It was dark, just after sunset
Fearlessness I’d finally met
It wasn’t too dark, and the water was still warm
So unexpected, your humor hit me like an electric thunderstorm
Stars were out with the soft orange
Our conversation’s memories I started putting in special storage
Coming up from a wave, washed up on the board
Miles away, but connected through this invisible chord
Saw a green flash
And even when our fire turned to ash
As the sun fully set on the horizon
Your appearances in my dreams is not surprising

It was dark, just after sunset
First saw you across the net
It wasn’t too dark, and the water was still warm
Messages turned into conversations considered a swarm
Stars were out with the soft orange
Courage to speak up I no longer had to forage
Coming up from a wave, washed up on the board
Friendship became real, not mind games scored

You added in, even when life hit me with a thrash

Perfectly, Imperfect Imperfectly, Perfect

Imperfection is always looming around. I haven’t quite figured out if it’s looming in my head or in my reality, maybe those two things are the same. It’s funny, I just wrote a long journal entry about wishing those imperfections could go away and declaring my reality to change. I felt so much better releasing it, and then I turned on a random song. It took me back to the reality where things were perfect with someone. And I smile and sway as I listen to it now while I write this, because I realize perfection is always looming too.

That perfect time with that someone will always be in my heart, even though imperfection has taken over our relationship. Those memories are forever mine, no matter if they choose to re-awaken as reality or not. And it’s ok, if things will never be perfect again. I let go of that needing/wishing/wanting/hoping within, I lean into meant to be.

Imperfection and perfection dance together in this paradoxical jive. One seems so obvious, and then the other peeks out from the corner. I see both in me, I hear both in my head, I feel both in my gut, and I sense both through my perception. I guess imperfection is truly perfect because it’s the journey. And perfection is truly imperfect, because, can anything truly be perfect? Maybe it’s all just an illusion, because these labels are really just fueled by perception and the voices in my head.

Love may be the only really perfect and imperfect thing. Love comes naturally, love comes imperfectly. But love is perfect; its highs, its lows and its feelings – it’s unlike anything else, it is the Universe. And the Universe is always all, never one.

I am imperfectly perfect. I am perfectly imperfect. I am perfectly and freely letting go of imperfection’s uncertainty. I am imperfectly and fearlessly letting go of perfection’s nagging. I AM me, perfect and imperfect.

This video is from my debut video album, IMAGINE + REALITY. In that album, I broke it up into parts. So 8 videos were about imagining your reality, 8 were about your reality being your imagination and then there’s 1 video about the in-between of creating your reality. That one video, is our Universe Hug for today! I love this video because it’s like a journey from just thinking to really believing. The music is also so soothing and comforting. Speaking To The Infinite Universe In Me

Is life happening to me? Or am I happening to life?

Life, is simply a series of moments and choices shaped, created and lived through perception. Nothing just happens, there is a reason and a purpose for everything. There’s so much more to life than this experience of life in the 3D view. You chose to be here, you are me and I am you; you are infinite. You are not bound by labels, limits or false beliefs; you are love. Your soul is the fire inside lighting the way. Your soul is the being in your head who’s voice rings loud and deep, it’s the only true one up there. Your soul has created this reality you “live” in. YOU are the game maker, the life creator and the dream director. Your soul is timeless, eternal and divine – it’s you, the real YOU.

Experiences are upon your creation. Every thought you think, every word you speak or don’t speak, and every call you make to your soul gets answered through experiences. In this life, your soul’s voice comes through emotion and experiences. You are speaking to your soul in every second you’re alive, because you are your soul. Nothing in your life is an accident or a mistake, those are just labels. Whatever you’ve gone through, whatever you’re going through and whatever you go through – is meant to be, I promise. This life was your choice, this moment is your creation and your future is destiny’s past. Your touch has the power to illuminate, your eyes have the magic to truly see, your heart has the love to dream and your intuition has the knowing to write your entire reality from the very beginning to the end, if ends exist.

Yes, YOU are happening to life.

I frequently talk out loud to myself, more as a conversation with the Universe in my head – my higher self. And recently I was talking and I heard myself say the phrase, “Is life happening to me or am I happening to life?” I knew the answer right away, I knew I’m happening to life. But, I definitely knew I wanted to elaborate on it in my writing. So, here we are. I wrote the question and I basically just let my higher self answer; like a channeling. In a way I feel like I wrote it, but, in most ways I feel like something came through me and wrote it – my higher self. There are some lines here that I’m sure I’ll definitely come back and read many times. I hope this helps you on your journey and reminds you that your reality, life and destiny is in YOUR control!! What is one word which you use a lot?

Ooo that’s tricky. I’d say Universe. Or love. Those words are kind of the reason I write, so, it makes sense that I use them a lot. 😊

What’s your catch phrase or pet phrase?

“Be fearless and free.” I say it at the end of almost all my posts, it came pretty naturally. I feel like it captures my mission with my blog and is a good little reminder to us all!

Have you ever burnt something while ironing?

I’ve never ironed in my entire life. 😂 But, I have burnt plenty of things while cooking or baking. 🤪

One of your favorite quote/book quote.

It’s so hard to pick a single quote over the millions I’ve seen in my life! But, John Wooden was the first big inspiration in my life. And this quote has helped me a lot through my journey, “Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.”

What color was/is your school bag?

I think my tennis bag is more applicable to my life. 😁 So, my tennis bag is black, yellow and white.

What is your favorite book?

Oh man, I can’t pick just one! My favorite fictional book is, The Short History Of The Girl Next Door by Jared Reck. My favorite spiritual book is, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

Are you a Potterhead/Harry Potter fan?

I read all the books and watched all the movies years ago. I like it, but, I’m not a crazy fan or anything. Just a fan of really good books, and those were pretty great.

If you could summarize 2020 in one word, what would it be?

Awakening, for sure. I am forever grateful to 2020 for all the growth, truth and awakening it brought to me, I’d be a completely different person without it. I know 2020 has a bad reputation, but it will always be a memorable year seen with love for me. (For personal reasons, not the world’s view).
